Call for Papers – Discover Sensors (Springer Nature)

Call for Papers Advanced and Innovative Photodetectors Discover Sensors, one of the newest imprints of Springer Nature, is currently welcoming submissions to the Collection ‘Advanced and Innovative Photodetectors’, Guest Editor Dr. Carmela Bonavolontà CNR-ISASI. Discover Sensors is an open-access journal publishing research from all fields relevant to sensors. It aims to be a resource for researchers, policy makers and the general public for recent advances in sensor science and its uses in research development and society. The journal is indexed in DOAJ. It is now a part of the Discover journal series committed to providing all authors a streamlined submission process, rapid review and publication, and a high level of author service at every stage. This Collection “Advanced and Innovative Photodetectors” will present recent progress in the fabrication, design, understanding, and utilization of photodetectors across diverse application fields, from optoelectronics to healthcare, from energy storage to materials science. It will collect research papers reporting novel experimental, theoretical, or simulation results dealing with the development of photodetectors. Publication costs will be covered by Springer Nature until 31 December 2026. Authors whose articles are accepted for publication in Discover Sensors up to and including that date will not pay an article-processing charge.
