Profile

Principia Dardano received her Ph.D. in Fundamental and Applied Physics in 2008. Since December 2004, she has been with the Italian National Research Council (CNR) in Naples—initially at the Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems (IMM) and currently at the Institute for Applied Sciences and Intelligent Systems (ISASI)—where she heads the Photolithography Laboratory. Her work focuses on the design, fabrication, and characterization of theranostic and optical devices. She is also involved in advanced imaging and characterization of micro- and nanoscale biosystems using techniques such as AFM, EFM, SEM, and EDX.
