The ARTEMIS project has officially started

The ARTEMIS project “moleculAR maTerials for on-chip intEgrated quantum lIght sourceS” officially started with the kick-off meeting which was held in Naples on 17 and 18 October 2023. The ARTEMIS project is funded by the European Commission under the Call “HE EIC PATHFINDER CHALLENGES-01-06”. This proposal aims to develop new quantum materials that will be used as single-photon or entangled-photon sources. This would offer a huge advantage in the fields of metrology and integrated photonics. The consortium receives 3,247,100.00 euros from the European Commission for a project lasting 48 months, from October 2023 to September 2027. The consortium includes 10 partners from Italy, Serbia, Belgium, Spain, France and Switzerland. CNR-ISASI participates in the ARTEMIS project in the role of coordinator and will be involved in developing measurements of linear and nonlinear optical properties of new quantum materials, as well as in project management and coordination activities.

The ISASI staff involved are: Maria Antonietta Ferrara as Project Coordinator, Luigi Sirleto as Researcher and Simona De Luca as member of the General Management Committee.
