    • Pint of SciencePint of Science is an annual science festival that aims to communicate contemporary scientific developments to the public by bringing scientists to pubs, cafĂ©s and other public places to share their research and findings. The festival takes place annually in the month of May. After running the first festival in May 2013 in three cities in UK, Pint of Science received many interest from people wanting to join the festival, both around the UK and the rest of the world. ISASI has been participating in Pint of Science since 2018.

Italian Quantum Weeks

Quantum Mechanics has upset our way of conceiving reality with its fascinating bizarre: physicists and engineers have learned to exploit its regulatory principles to create devices and common objects that have revolutionized our lives. Without quantum mechanics, today, there would be no semiconductor electronics, lasers, CDs, LEDs, CCDs, smartphones and the internet itself, among others.
For a couple of decades, after a phase of study confined to the most advanced research laboratories, we have witnessed the flowering of a second quantum revolution which, in the view of the experts, will lead to a new paradigm shift. Quantum Technologies, as identified by the European Flagship on the subject, promise to change the way we conceive the power of a computer, the security of communications, the ability to simulate complex systems and the sensitivity and precision of measurements with unexpected repercussions on the everyday life.

Italian Quantum Weeks is an event created by a network of Italian researchers, technicians, disseminators, communicators, teachers engaged in the field of quantum mechanics and the dissemination of its knowledge.
