On Saturday 19 October at 12, the Co-Visions exhibition opens in CittĂ della Scienza. The magic of light science is an experiment in scientific communication focused on installations and design products realized by students of the master’s degree course in Design for the Built Environment at the Federico II University of Naples. The prototypes on display were inspired by meetings with experts in physics, optics, visual perception, astrophysics, art and lighting design who explored what light is, its optical properties, the structure of the cosmos and the astonishing abilities of our visual system. The Design Co-Visions path aims to explore the possible intersection trajectories between design, optical physics, light sciences, astrophysics and art, focusing on vision and optical phenomena at different scales, from the cosmic to the nanometric dimension.
