The STEM DAY event was held on 24 October in CittĂ della Scienza in Naples, with the participation of more than 400 students and professors. The event is part of a series of events organized in three schools in the Province of Naples (I.C. Russo and I.C. Novaro Cavour of Naples, I.C. De Curtis Ungaretti of Ercolano) within the Festival of STEM subjects, an English acronym for science, technology , engineering and mathematics. The STEM Days are organized by the public administration consultancy company PA Advice, leader for Campania of the national STEMLab project, which is aimed at introducing young people to STEM subjects, promoting scientific culture, and developing soft skills. In the morning the event saw the Round Table “The STEMlab project: replicability and developments three years after the start of the experimentation” whose purpose was to tell the institutional subjects and the various stakeholders of the territory about the main results obtained thanks to the project and to provide an opportunity for discussion with them on the possible replicability of the experimentation. The table saw the participation of Lucia Fortini, Councilor for Education of the Campania Region; Maura Striano, councilor for education of the Municipality of Naples; Carmela Saulino, councilor for education of the Municipality of Ercolano; Ettore Acerra, regional school office of Campania. And among others Antigone Marino of the ISASI Institute, who brought as topics those of the Scientific Capital and the ability to be able to enhance it thanks to dissemination activities aimed at the youngest.
