Paths around man from the micro to the macrocosm

As part of the STREETS events scheduled for the European Researchers’ Night 2022, ISASI took part in the event “Paths around man from the micro to the macrocosm” organized by Rosarita Tatè of the Institute of Genetics and Biophysics (IGB) of the CNR and held in Torre del Greco from 2 to 8 October.
The event was opened on 2 October with the meeting “Between corals, history and science” at the “Francesco Degni” High School Institute.
During the week of 3 to 7 October, a special Treasure Hunt with a historical-scientific theme was organized at some commercial shops identified in the Torrese area entitled “Paths around man from the micro to the macrocosm” according to three different itineraries, suitable to participants of different ages and backgrounds. At the end of the hunt, every day of the week at the Torre del Greco STECCA incubator, the participants were able to meet researchers from the CREO network, from other universities and research institutions in Campania and the science communicators of “Le Nuvole” , cultural enterprise partner of the STREETS project. On the 8th they met the ISASI researcher Antigone Marino who presented her activities in the field of optics.
The Torrese week ended on 8 October, again at STECCA, with a day dedicated to scientific dissemination aimed at schools and citizens, in which ISASI participated with its interactive laboratories.
For ISASI the following participated: Antigone Marino, Simona de Luca, Angela Tino and Claudia Tortiglione.
